Alexandra Drawbridge presents stills of children from reality TV, which she has cropped and enlarged to produce works that often navigate a space between intimidation and seduction.

Exploring the inhuman aspects of a digital world, the imagery is both transient and pervasive in nature. Emphasising the digital process the red, green and blue colour channels have been split to create three black and white images, the repetition of which leaves the viewer emotionally detached as the works lack the humanity that ordinarily belong tot hem. Whilst in the colour images the saturated ‚colour‘ represented from TV accepts an unquestioning sense of unreality.
